The wall text sentence from the Instructions series is 6.64 metres long and says, “There is something you should know”. It is very irritating to go through a room and suddenly find a short sentence which is, on one hand, abstract and on the other, very specific, depending on personal experience and interpretation. There is something you should know has a slightly disturbing undertone and addresses us in the psychological area of our feelings and fears. Why and how we give meaning to events and images, and the insecurities that are involved in this process, are central to the message of this work, which is reminiscent of the concept art of the 70´s. If concerns then were the major ideologies, artists today are more concerned with the no less complicated questions of individual consciousness.
